Cookies, which may be required for certain functions of our website, are shown below. In addition, the deactivation/deletion of cookies only affects the internet browser used here. For other internet browsers, the deactivation/deletion of cookies must therefore be repeated accordingly.

In addition, there are various ways to prevent the setting of certain cookies either by selecting them in our tracking banner or individually to the respective service provider whose tools we use for certain purposes. We point out the latter possibility to you in direct connection with the respective tool.

Session cookies

As part of the provision of our websites, we use session cookies which we store on your device when you visit our website - regardless of your selection as part of the tracking banner - and which are always deleted automatically when you close the internet browser (i.e. close the program). We use the following session cookies, which we use for certain functions, which do not contain personal data, for the following purposes:

• to ensure the failure free playback of video or audio content (for example, to play Vimeo or Youtube Videos);

This ensures that your details are not automatically transmitted to social network servers as soon as you access our website. In addition, when you share content from our website we only transmit the information to the social network that is required to share the relevant content (e.g. the link to the content you want to share). About Cookies

Cookies

Cookies are set when you visit our website or a so-called pixel-code/web beacon causes a cookie to be set. However, cookies can only be read by the web server of the same domain from which they were originally set.

You can also view our website without cookies. Internet browsers are regularly set to accept cookies. In order to prevent the use of cookies by your internet browser, you can deactivate the use of cookies via the settings of your internet browser and delete cookies that have already been set. The help functions of your internet browser tell you how to deactivate and delete cookies in your browser. Please note that the deactivation/deletion of cookies may result in individual functions of our website no longer functioning as expected.

This enables us to provide you with various functions on our website using the information in the cookies.

We use the following session cookies, which we use for certain functions, which do not contain personal data, for the following purposes:

Session cookies, which we use for certain functions, with personal data:

Session cookies are automatically deleted after the internet browser is closed, at the latest, however, at the end of the life-span of the respective cookie.

Persistent Cookies

Persistent cookies are cookies that remain stored on your device, even after you have closed your internet browser. We use the information in these cookies to provide you with convenient functions on our website (e.g. to save certain user preferences or for search or language settings), but also to collect your usage behaviour on our website and to use this information to improve our website (e.g. to detect errors) and to personalise advertising for you.

Persistent cookies with personal data to collect your usage behaviour are only processed with your consent, which you can give us the first time you visit our website via the tracking-banner displayed there. You can revoke your consent to the processing of your usage behaviour at any time by deleting all cookies set in your internet browser. In this case, however, it may be necessary to make a new decision about using cookies for the aforementioned purpose via the tracking-banner. You can also revoke your consent to individual web analytics/marketing tools, as shown hereinafter.

Data from persistent cookies are stored until the end of the term of the respective cookie or until the cookies are deleted by you.

What types of cookies we use and how they work

Web analytics in using user profiles

We use web analytics tools for the purposes of advertising, market research and for user feedback on the design of our website (and, where applicable, the newsletter). For these purposes, we use analysis cookies and/or JavaScript to collect and process usage data about your visit to our website and your use of links in the newsletter (if available). The collection of your usage data and the creation of a usage profile from it is carried out using a cookie ID. Your IP address is either not collected or anonymised immediately after collection. Therefore, it is not possible to directly deduce your identity from the ID used.

You can find below additional information on the web analytics tools we and our partners use and how you can prevent or restrict the particular web analytics tool from collecting and processing your data

Adobe Analytics (Adobe Marketing Cloud)

For web analytics we use Adobe Audience Manager und Adobe Tracking (“Adobe Analytics”) a service provided by Adobe Systems Software Ireland Ltd., 4-6 Riverwalk, Citywest Business Park, Dublin 24, Ireland ("Adobe. The information relating to your use of our website is transferred to Adobe servers, analysed and solely returned to us as cumulative data. This data allows us to identify trends in how the website is generally used. We do not conflate the resultant usage profiles with your name or any other details that could disclose your identity, such as your e-mail address. The usage data is stored by the service used for a maximum duration of 37 months from the date on which it was collected.

Opt-out: Please use Adobe's opt-out website if you wish to prevent your usage data being collected. You can find information about how Adobe Analytics cookies work and the opt-out option via the following link: http://www.adobe.com/privacy/opt-out.html

AdobeTest and Target

Adobe Test & Target (a service provided by Adobe Systems Software Ireland Ltd., 4-6 Riverwalk, Citywest Business Park, Dublin 24, Ireland „Adobe“) works on the basis of A/B tests. This means that the person using our website is shown a different version of the website from the original (e.g. with altered design and content). Comparing both versions provides us with information about which version of our website is preferred by users. When Adobe Test & Target is used, the only information relating to you that is processed cannot be used to identify you. IP anonymization is also activated, meaning that your IP address is shortened before Adobe Test & Target carries out any further processing. We do not conflate the usage profiles resulting from this with your name or any other details that could disclose your identity, such as your e-mail address.

The usage data is stored by the service used for a maximum duration of 37 months from the date on which it was collected.Opt-out: Please use the following link if you wish to prevent your usage data being collected: http://bsh.tt.omtrdc.net/optout. Modern slavery act statement

BSH Home Appliances Limited – anti-slavery and human trafficking statement for the financial year 2018

BSH Home Appliances Limited is committed to improving our practices and driving out acts of modern day slavery and human trafficking from within our business and from within our supply chains. We acknowledge the responsibilities within the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and are committed to ensuring transparency within our organisation and with our suppliers of goods and services.

BSH Home Appliances Limited are part of BSH Hausgeräte GmbH which is the largest manufacturer of home appliances in Europe and one of the leading companies in the sector worldwide. The Group head office is in Munich, Germany. The Group has over 56,500 employees worldwide. BSH has some 41 factories worldwide and produces the entire range of home appliances.

We are committed to ensuring that there is no modern slavery or human trafficking in our supply chains or in any part of our business. Our Business Conduct Guidelines reflects our commitment to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships. We are committed to implementing and enforcing effective systems and controls to ensure slavery and human trafficking is not taking place within our supply chains.

BSH has a clear position: We refuse to engage in any business that infringes applicable law, internal guidelines or the standards to which BSH subscribes – this applies to our entire organisation worldwide. Within our Business Conduct Guidelines we expect that the actions of every employee be compliant with:

Social Compliance Program

In the interests of sustainable value creation, we work with our suppliers on the basis of fair competition. BSH only considers working with companies that also attach great importance to environmental protection, human rights and health and safety at work. These principles governing our relationships with our business partners are enshrined in the BSH Code of Conduct for Suppliers of the BSH group.

BSH launched its social compliance program in 2013 and has been making efforts since then to ensure that all its suppliers adhere to certain minimum standards in terms of working conditions and environmental protection. BSH’s social compliance program requires our suppliers to accept our Code of Conduct for suppliers in writing. In addition, production suppliers must provide evidence of successful completion of a social audit by an external auditor. We began systematically auditing all 3,000 or so of our existing suppliers of production materials in 2013. We have been auditing 200 of these suppliers each year since 2014. They are selected based on the risk ratings of groups and countries of materials. In addition, we audit all prospective BSH production suppliers before awarding any contracts and have been doing this since 2013.

Systematic social audits

The social audits are commissioned directly by the suppliers themselves. BSH receives the results of the audits including details of any action required. Based on a four step ranking system – critical, major divergence, minor divergence, compliant – the cases of suppliers

assessed as “critical” or that diverge from requirements are escalated accordingly. This can lead to another audit or even termination of the business relationship. A specialised team from Global Supply Chain division verifies compliance with these framework requirements and is also responsible for annual auditing.

Communication and training of all involved

The success of the social compliance program hinges on getting the procurement officers responsible on board from the word go and providing them with professional support, as well as making sure that the business partners involved are given clear, comprehensive information. To ensure that all involved are kept up to date on the audit process and the ratings, a manual was produced for BSH procurement officers. Further documents provided for orientation purposes are a list of the most frequently asked questions, an outline of the social criteria and, since 2014, a social compliance newsletter. The information provided on sustainability issues is complemented by both internal and external training.

On a local level, the supply chain is managed by local Purchasing Managers, who are responsible for ensuring the supply chain within the UK business adheres to the standards prescribed by Group Head Office. The local supply chain deals predominantly with the purchasing of services. As a matter of course, the Code of Conduct is sent to all new suppliers and all existing suppliers who have provided goods or services within the last year. Training has also been provided for employees with purchasing responsibilities on the Modern Slavery Act.

This statement is made pursuant to section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and constitutes BSH Home Appliances Limited’s slavery and human trafficking statement. The Board of Management of BSH Home Appliances Limited shall take responsibility for implementing this policy statement and shall provide adequate resources to ensure that slavery and human trafficking is not taking place within the organisation within its supply chains.

This policy will be reviewed on an annual basis
